Spice Up Your Cookout
The summer season means warm weather and tasty cookouts. But instead of hamburgers and hotdogs, we’re all for adding some spice to your asado! First, we recommend ditching the dogs and burgers and checking out some different meats from a local butcher. We’re always in favor of premium red meats like a nice tenderloin or skirt steak, but we also encourage checking out some more exotic meats – think ostrich or wild boar. No matter what you choose, these meats all make great choices to pair with the firm acidity and rich fruit flavors in our Malbec. Next, grab some seasonal vegetables like corn and peppers to roast alongside your meat for a flavorful final result.
When prepping your meat for grilling, there are many methods you can use; but to bring out real, honest flavors, keep it simple when it comes to your seasonings. If you have great cuts of meat, those natural flavors will naturally come out by just tossing on some sea salt and cracked black pepper before they hit the grill. Now you’re ready to let those great cuts hit the heat and create that aroma that’ll make everyone salivate!
