FIRST CLASS: THE DON'S GUIDE TO TRAVEL

FIRST CLASS: THE DON'S GUIDE TO TRAVEL

Formula One champion racer and quintessential Argentine Juan Manuel Fangio once said, "You need great passion, because everything you do with great pleasure, you do well." We have an insatiable passion for travel, and we've racked up enough miles to offer some wisdom for your next vacay.

Pack small but be Colosal. This is a hard and fast rule. Pack just the basics, and security will be much quicker. Carry a smaller load, but give yourself room to bring back your coolest finds. If you can get away with a single carry-on bag, we'll anoint you a traveler (instead of a tourist).

Groom on the go. Don't let the road or the jet way make you look haggard. Carry simple products and tools like pomade, face wipes, a comb and a shave kit. Your future wife or your future boss could be next to you mid-air. Maintain a little style en route, just in case.

Turn up the tech. Load up on the right apps before you head out the door. An airline app for check-in, a weather app for detailed forecasts, and a planning app to schedule your itinerary are a must. Take it up a notch with an app that plays ambient sounds for you to snooze to mid-flight, an app that will find the best local food joints, or an app that will help you navigate through the airport.

Mix business with pleasure. Traveling for work with the boss? Turn the trip's downtime into "Don" time. See it as a chance to kick back and get to know the head honcho outside of the office. Invite him or her to explore some local spots.

Sounds like it's time to book yourself a Colosal get-away.
